TRI Inc REALTORS® has embodied the entrepreneurial spirit since its inception when Bill Tate expanded his business interests from local grocery store owner to commercial real estate investor forming Tupelo Realty Company in 1954.

Tate’s passion quite literally launched the professional real estate industry in the state of Mississippi becoming the first licensed agent. Together Bill and his wife Sue built one of the most recognized Real Estate Brokerage Firms in the mid-south. Their life long efforts can be seen in the built environment in such iconic city centers as Tupelo, Oxford, and Memphis. The importance of their commitment to community was passed to their daughter Ellen Tate Short who expanded TRI Inc’s residential business arm in 1971.

Today, Clay Short, Tate’s grandson, leads the tradition of excellence as President of TRI Inc REALTORS®. Client focused, guided with integrity and armed with over 60 years of proven expertise, TRI Inc continues to deliver superior Commercial Real Estate advisory solutions.
